About Me

I was born in South Africa and moved to Israel in 2018. I have a doctorate in art history and I'm also involved in ongoing research.

Throughout the years, I've had numerous exhibitions in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Akko, Ein Hod, and Haifa, and I'm represented in the holy city of Sefad at the General Exhibition.

I have published 13 books on kabbalah, art and fictional works as well as 14 Journal articles on art in relation to sport.

What Inspires Me

My inspiration is drawn from many sources: the wisdoms of Kabbalah, the East and philosophy, as well as mathematics, science and of course the history and theory of art itself.

The intellectual harmonizes with my feeling, intuitions, and instinct. It is this fusion that gives rise to my abstract expressionistic style, to the use of symbols and signs and the freedom of gesture, color and texture that I explore in the act of painting.
